Just feels completely pointless giving him two more Premier League games (against decent opposition, might I add) that we’ll just lose anyway. Why not just get rid, give Baines the cup game and get the new fella in over the weekend.

Far from defending him, but there's zero evidence Baines is a decent manager.

He could he fantastic, but just stick with him until there's a new manager. By the sounds of things, it's going to he sooner rather than later anyway.

I just don't see how bringing an inexperienced head during a rocky patch is beneficial.

April, when were clear and got nothing to play for. But inexperienced head against Villa didn't work last time. Just my concern.

We were not scoring goals before he came and we are not scoring goals now. He has to take part of the responsibility for that as the manager, it hasn’t improved so he failed in that respect. I don’t hate the fella but it’s time to move on, he served a purpose, now he doesn’t. It’s over. Thanks Sean, all the best and all that.

I mean I’d say it sounds like he’s been humbled, but it sounds more like he’s been handed a script to me.

Of course mate , it’s rare that these things are spontaneous conversation and not scripted.

The only people gaining anything from all this farce at Everton is the people earning a living out of it.

Yep, he seems to forget that the managers before him were sacked because we didn't win enough games. He really needs to change that narrative of "what went on before me". It doesn't help him one jot.

Doesn't Paul Tait run the reserves and Baines is just the development coach?
