2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Just watched the press conference. D'you know what - I'm delighted we've had this feller as manager.

He's not a phony. He doesn't try to be Mr Everton or BS fans.

He's just got on with a thankless task and delivered as best he could - and I agree with him when he said he condsiders himself to have done a bloody decent job all told.

I've heard this multiple times, so I'm sure there's some truth in it, but what does that actually mean? What other tasks was he covering?

Honestly not sure mate as I didn't want to press the person to clarify what he meant as i was in a work situation at the time and just got talking about Everton for 10 minutes.

The gentleman I spoke to was very sincere when speaking about Dyche though, very genuine when he mentioned that particular passage of chat about Dyche having to put out a lot of fires and dealing with more than a normal manager should.

Hes a massive bellend, so it comes as NO surprise that you like him.

Fair dues, I'm just struggling to think of things he could do. To be fair, I have no idea what goes on in the day to day running of a football club, or any business really!

Your attitude - disloyal to the core - is a disgrace.
My loyalty is to Everton Football Club, I will champion whatever I think is in the best interests of this club.

Currently, its in every fans best interests if this joker hits the road.

IMO.

I can only post my thoughts here Dave, a LOT of people agree with me, not many with you, but thats just the way you like it.

He literally does on many performanes, saying we have played way better than we did.

I just took it as Dyche was spinning a lot of plates behind the scenes and that we were in a far crappper state than anyone could envisage.

That was my take on it tbh mate

Now, I'm not sure if that meant he was doing the dishes in the FF canteen and mopping the floors in the bogs, that we will never know.
