2024/25 Sean Dyche

All about opinions I suppose.

I see a team up for a battle but getting no breaks atm.

And we're definitely a team that's looking like they can get on the ball and play through teams more.

As for Branthwaite: his partnership with Tarkowski last season had us near the top of the table in terms of defensive displays. To say he'd only "be of help" to us when back is *slightly* undercooking it a bit.
Agree to disagree. We look a team void of ideas and when route one doesn’t produce we aimlessly run around the pitch. This team has lived on luck the previous two seasons. Dyche has this team in a hole and won’t be able to go on another one of his losing streaks like he did last year. Lampard levels of bad and far less like able.

I saw us open up a very good CL team on more than one occasion today.

Let's give our team a bit of credit.

Yes, we caved in at the end, but we gave them a real scare today at their place.

I never saw us doing that today prior to the game, and I doubt many others did.

We were beaten by 1 goal... away to a top 4 side... by a goal that will probably go down as the greatest goal of the entire season.

All we as fans can do is dust ourselves down and get on with it. We have been in far worse scenarios. Remember the Palace game under Frank? We went behind and looked down and out, but we fans persisted with the players... and we won.

We are Everton; we don't do relegation.

We are a completely different team with Branthwaite.

just back from game and agree .. plenty of good stuff today but no end result !

Dyche is trolling us, he never expresses anything other than "this is a big/bigger job than I thought, it's been that way for a good while"

The club is a mess, but it's never been a secret, he knew what he was taking on and what he would have to work with!

He doesn't give a flying one about how we perform, it has no consequence to him at all. He'll be spouting dog turd on camera as a pundit when we finally punt this runt into touch, seeing out his days as a know it all, but knows F All talking head on some bs football show that allows him to do so!

He's belittling this club with his attitude and tone, punt this runt now!

I try to remain loyal.

But Dyche has underlined twice that he can get us safe. That for me is the clincher.

Roll the dice on a new manager and we face sure fire oblivion if we get that call wrong.

But most of all...and as I've said already...why are people calling for his head when he's months away from ending his contract here? The board aren't handing out severance cash to another manager in a hurry.

Just accept it as a done deal that Dyche is here for the foreseeable and hope he turns this round. I'm sure he will, others think not.

That's about it really.
In 50 years of support, I
have honestly never really believed that we would get relegated. I was there at the Wimbledon game etc. and I genuinely didn’t believe we’d go down.
We are going down if we stick with him. I have never felt this way.

At this point I think anything less than a win at LCFC and he might be in for it. It would be one thing if it was like last season and he didnt have a striker. But hes had Ndiaye and OBrien and his decisions to play Keane and Doucoure(as well as keep Tim in too long) stand out. We have some very winnable games for the next 5 but Thelwell cant be happy that hes signed him players and hes refusing to use them.

I still dont think this team is anywhere near a relegation team, but the hard resolve from last season seems to have given way to indifference and I dont think Moshiri is patient/willing to sink his chance to sell

I think we have a half decent team. Not great, but not relegation fodder. We just need a decent manager.

We've played 4 this season and lost all of them. We've gone 29 years without winning a trophy when before that we were one of the teams that won them at regular intervals. Stop celebrating surviving relegation - it's pathetic.
