2024/25 Sean Dyche

I shared my view that he had a stinker against Bournemouth.

The manager didn't help, and his post match comments were very poor but even if I was manager of a league one team - I'd expect to see out a 2-0 win at home from the 87th minute to Bournemouth. Players let us down more than anyone.

Gota disagree with that. He left players exhausted up against players who had came on. Fatigue causes errors.
And his arrogance in after match interviews doesnt help. He took no responsibility.
That could be half the problem here. His arrogance/ stubborness that he's not making errors.

That list and poll was done up how long ago?

This time last year mate. It's still the active Dyche replacement thread, here;

The short list seem depressing to you? What new names should be on it?

As I said, the shortlist to replace an Everton manager has been awful for years now.

Any decent manager with half a brain would keep away from us until the ownership issue is resolved.

Possibility to reopen this thread? Seems outdated 1 year is long in football.

Not my job unfortunately. But send them here I make them Macca-fit by running the St. James path.

What playstyle you want to see?
A winning style

I enjoy a possession based, patient, route one up and at em kind of football. Wingers who hug the touchline and in the next breath are so narrow they're nearly tripping over each other. Tiki taka one touch hoofball where the ball is played on the ground and in the air in equal measure.

Physical, no nonsense ballet style tackling and man marking in a zonal area where if we don't win the 1st ball, we win the 2nd ball and if we don't win the 2nd ball we win the knock down and if we don't win that we knock the opposition out

It is open.

It's never closed.

It's had replies as late as last night.

Interesting reading posts from Sept last year on the first pages - like this;
