Nah you seem to have a lot more insight into a Championship manager and why he would reject the longest serving top flight club of all time, I think I might just wait for your opinion instead
This is the pragmatic truth.I don’t have any insight it’s just my opinion that a manager like Corberan wouldn’t be interested in us right now, but would be once the off the pitch stuff looks more secure.
The fact we’re the longest serving top flight club of all time wouldn’t even cross his mind as it doesn’t contribute in any way to his ambition to move up the table in the here and now. No money and an owner that has been desperate to sell for 2 years isn’t likely to attract any top coach no matter how you dress it up.

Here's a question, what if dyche doesn't fancy it at the end of the season? So you’re basically just going to keep saying “what if he doesn’t fancy it” every time I name a potential Dyche replacement, so therefore we’re gonna go on forever aren’t we. Pointless discussion.
Why would you mock the idea of Moyes when you’re actually advocating keeping Sean Dyche? Are you honestly for real? In what universe are they even comparable in terms of stature in the game? It’s laughable, they’re not even close in terms of ability.
its either Championship job or doing the 'come in to a club' around February/March time and try and keep them up, like Allardyce did (pretty well) for 4/5 years. He won’t get another job after Everton will he?
Apparently his job is safe.
How stupid are our Board.
That's what I think too. Realistically I think if he gets 3 or 4 points in those 3 games he stays. He’ll be given the next 3 (Leicester, Palace and Newcastle) then a decision will be made before international break I suspect.
We held onto Lampard for about 2 months too long, let’s hope we don’t make the same mistake here.

Notwithstanding the valid reasoning for not being able to sack/replace him right now ... we probably already have. He’ll be given the next 3 (Leicester, Palace and Newcastle) then a decision will be made before international break I suspect.

The likes of Palace, Forest etc would have a look at him if they feel they are desperate enough
No, for me the ire is he isn't looking like keeping us up. I'm not saying sack cos it's been 4 games in the league, but it ain't great. The thing is, for all the criticism of Dyche, he has done exactly the job he was hired to do: keep us up.
Most of the ire now seems to focus on his inability to take the team forward and, while that may be fair and true, you’d be hard pushed to argue Dyche hasn’t exactly been supported in that effort.
He’s had to sell. The players he’s wanted, evidently, we haven’t been able to get. He’s having to make do, while delivering against expectations to move the team up the league (expectations which I would argue aren’t reasonable).
The team is what it is. It’s a poor squad that has been fighting down the bottom under several managers and, without £££, will continue to do so. Dyche needs to do better, much better. But the likelihood is we’d still be circling the drain with anyone else (at least, any manager we’d be able to attract in these circumstances).
