2024/25 Sean Dyche

It’s symptomatic of the malaise under Moshiri mate. If you continuously dilute quality, replace with inferior and refuse to invest comparible to your rivals, you are left with relying on pushing 40 value fullbacks and things like concentrated injuries impact , doesn’t matter who the manager is. It’s that bad we’ve started the season with an injury crisis - if that is actually possible.

If he was given a fair crack and not handed the manure show and juggling limits - then many would be valid with current results. Thats not the case though.

Changing mangers is like moving deck chairs around on the Titanic, the problems here aren’t endemic of the manager, expecting change on a rush of adrenaline, is fools gold.

The risk of loosing him is very real jeopardy though, massive stakes. Not many are successfully managing this manure show.

We will be fine though - he knows what he’s at and is a proper manager in adversity.

We’re basically at the point of Brentford away last, despite all the histrionics.
Hopefully we get something at Leicester to take the growing pressure off him. I think we will get something too. We're closing in on a good result.

Think personally he’s trying to transition it, get goals in the team, with the extra man up front, that’s leaving us a man down in the middle and we’re missing the 3 there when Doucoure dropped back, Branthwaite and not having a settled back four for any of our games has compounded it. Garner also has been missed.

It won’t last.

He has a win rate of less than about 1in 3
In his carreer going on that we are going to be in the mix for the bottom places , it's roughly where he is at at Everton.
We had patches of not winning last season as well.
Why do people expect that to change?
This is what he is,
he isn't suddenly going to get better.
I actually think he has been well and truly found out in the prem and any half decent manager knows how we are going to play and how to counter it.
Looks exactly like his last year at Burnley they got rid to late , hope we don't go the same way.

I've felt that too. Dont know whether Thelwell is forcing players on Dyche, but players like Ndiaye and Lindstrom aren't going to do an awful lot of spade work.

I think that's why some posters believe another manager coming in can make more use out of those type of players.

It’s a good point actually, it’s something I’ve suspected as well on Thelwell and Dyche - think it’s gets to a point, where it’s - this is who is available and this is who we can afford, it’s this or nothing and compromises are made sub optimally based on our limits.

To be fair think Ndiaye is a player and I think we needed that variance, he puts in a huge shift defensively, deceptively so, I don’t think Lindstrom makes it here or anywhere in the PL on what I’ve seen so far have a feeling we will be filing under Bernard. Give or take a decent free kick.

It’s a squad of limited quality, I don’t think anyone’s coming and changing the dynamic of the team, it’s as fundamental as quality, we will be relying on fighting, commitment and attitude again. The system has needed stabilisers and inbuilt safety to stay in the league - things like Doucoure playing the hybrid role, once we open up a bit - we’re back to Lampard results. We don’t have the quality.

I doubt Thelwell is forcing players on Dyche .
I am sure every player who arrived was discussed and agreed beforehand.
DoF work with the manager in the interests of the club.
You would be making your own job harder as a DoF otherwise.

Doucoure is a nightmare at the moment.
What little attributes he had have faded away.
When he comes on my heart sinks.
He offers so little .
Minimal control , no vision , awful .
