2024/25 Sean Dyche

5 games, 1 point and 8 points dropped from winning positions is it?

If he doesn't beat Palace time is up.

It's 5 out of the last 7 games we went lead, but couldn't get it over.

Villa and Arsenal ok, can happen.

But also against Bournemouth, Southampton and Leicester that are on our level.

Did not change my mind whatsoever. Good on him for giving Jesper a run. Tried a new central partnership. Doucore had a good game in the middle but sucked butt once he moved forward. Could not get the necessary result and blew another lead.

His substitutions cost us the 3 points again. Taking Jesper off for Harrison was a negative move, just wanted him to cover garner. Then taking are best player off and only outlet again like he did against Bournemouth was a joke. Those subs affected our players, his game management is horrendous.

A point away at a PL ground is a good result.

Maybe you think we should be sweeping home teams aside? We're way way way off that.

We're a 12th-16th place team IMO.

That's our level.

I could take it, if we were in a better situation, but it's 2 points out of 9 vs Southampton, Leicester and Bournemouth.

An away point is never bad.

But it means Palace is must win for Dyche IMO.
The game is won if Pickford comes for that ball.

He had Lindstrom and Garner on the same side, that’s positive (before he would have started Harrison).

The subs were nonsensical, however. The best 11 was already on the pitch and Leicester weren’t doing anything.

The key is where we are in terms of the opposition after 5 games. The answer is that we're just a win off 14th.

This no time to destabilise the club with more managerial turmoil.

We'll be ok. Dont worry about that.
I think people are beyond caring if all we can look forward to after years of dross is "we'll be ok". That kind of complacency calls for relegation and a wiping out of the current culture.

Everton: what a joyless experience.

It shouldnt and hopefully it doesn't but a draw away probably buys him more time. I think he should be gone tonight based on the last 5 games and I don't think that's kneejerk at all
Kneejerk would be a handful of results or if it was one terrible performance.

Wanting a manager gone for overseeing five wins in nine months and no away wins in the entirety of 2024 is not kneejerk. It is completely logical.
