2024/25 Sean Dyche

He's coming into a defence with zero confidence and is still very young and has been unsettled, not to mention coming back from injury. Fair play of he picks up where he left off, but I think we have to be prepared for him to make some errors as well.
He's class and he'll be fine...and when he plays others in the defence will play better.

There's no need for a managerial change. We won't be relegated. Ilm very confident of that now. Performances we've had last 3 is way above the level relegation teams can put together.

They are playing for us for a reason. If they were any good they'd be playing for ambitious, well-run clubs who could wrap them in as many nurses and shrinks as you like. Inadequacy isn't always explained away by psychology. They are simply, in most cases, inadequate.

Not sure I’d have that approach to it myself, it’s not a binary thing either, you can help people develop resilience or cope during stress or adversity and learn from individual or systemic reactions, certainly something I’d like to see acknowledged and worked on.

Yes, you can - but you are assuming that Jack Harrison has an inner Maradona waiting to come out if only he gets the right shrink. He hasn't. He's Jack Harrison. You might make him 10% better - but 10% more of nothing is still nothing.

That's encouraging though. Play better than the home team and should have won.

We should have picked up another 4 at least in the last three games alone.

We're there or thereabouts as a competitive team. If we can get Branthwiate partnering Tarkowski for most of this season I have no worries about relegation whatsoever.

I’m not so stressed about the season mate, just felt we left that win behind us and the attitude and mentality concerned me again, I felt we were another few mins from collapsing again.

It’s been a feature in every game, enough for us to do something beyond sports coaching.

There is an issue with the players psychologically in my opinion.

You know what pleases me most right now: that people who just want a managerial change rather than what's best for Everton are seething.

That tells me everything. I'm made up with that.
I want whats best for Everton.

If we fail to beat Palace, that would be a managerial change.

Its not good enough, you can dress it up how you like, but football is a results business, Sean Dyche is paid a huge sum of money to get results, if he maintains his ability to not be able to win football games, then he should be sacked.
