2024/25 Sean Dyche

I’m not so stressed about the season mate, just felt we left that win behind us and the attitude and mentality concerned me again, I felt we were another few mins from collapsing again.

It’s been a feature in every game, enough for us to do something beyond sports coaching.

There is an issue with the players psychologically in my opinion.
Just the players?

Four games in a row we have scored first and failed to win.

Snacks of poor game management.
Yeah, it's very disappointing. We have shown that we can be competitive and win games so to not have done so is frustrating.

Both players and manager at fault for that in ways. Players initially for not putting games to bed and missing chances but then like you say, the manager not seeing the game out well with his game management.

You and I both know that everyone on this forum, barring a couple of trolls and RS lurkers, want what's best for Everton football club. They may not always agree what "best" is, but suggesting that people who disagree with you want the club relegated is most definitely a non-sequitur and is positively Trumpian.
In wanting destabilisation after 3/4/5 games of a season they actively work against Everton.

I only dress things up one way and one way alone for this era of Everton: you keep a manager if they can get you from finishing 18th/19th/20th in this league.

Dyche does that for us.

Trouble is we are entertainment for everyone apart from ourselves the clown show of British football, off and now on the pitch.

That's not remotely true, btw.

If we get another point and gain on other teams at the bottom then that's acceptable.

We need wins, for sure. But to suggest that if we dont get against palace Dyche should or will go is not right.

I didn’t say he should go. I said there are no excuses.

Taking off N’Diaye and Lindstrom invited a lot of pressure as they were the only outlet going forward.
We were lucky that Leicester didn't have another gear, teams have seen how weak we get towards the last 20 minutes.
He’s coaching them to chase without the ball in training hence the fatigue.
He’s a tramp of a manager and I can’t see where the wins are going to come from.

No Dave, I dont want entertainment, I want to win football games, I dont care how.

This fella is allergic to success.

Yes, that's the non-sequitur I'm talking about. It's troubling if you genuinely think that is logical. Everybody wants an Everton that is competitive and accruing points, if that isn't happening it is logical to look at changing something that isn't working, it is illogical to assume anyone that is doing that is maliciously looking to wound the club. In fact, it is the stuff of internet conspiracy theorists.

Thing is other teams bring on pacy attacking players that are decent. We bring off one decent attacking player and replace with Harrison who is defensive. Then we get overrun. It’s a simple problem to sort. Get rid of the root of the problem.

You;

If we lose the next two PL games I'd regrettably have to conclude he's going to put us in danger.

Given 1 point today.

He needs a result against Palace.
