2024/25 Sean Dyche

It’s more akin to: if you’re a patient on life support and someone offers you the chance to go back to just staying alive by yourself you don’t turn around to the doctor the literal moment after they’re finished and verbally abuse them because they’ve not taken you to Alton Towers yet, and that’s what you expect in life.

Progressions the name of the game. Dyche stopped us from going into the championship, then climbed the table. Yao by your logic you may as well slam him for not winning title because that’s what playing football is all about #nsno
I’d ask them to leave me on the machine if a trip to Alton Towers was offered as a proviso in that situation.

But if they have the tools and apparatus to bring you back to life with the help of his nurses, and then once you are back to staying alive by yourself he starts giving you advice such as 'heroin, beer & doritos, put nothing in your body apart from that', 'look at the state you were in before i got here, you should just settle for staying alive'

Errrr is it really like that?
Interesting take?

5 games isn’t him destroying the patient. He’s not the guy to take us to the top but some don’t half go overboard on him. You’d think he’d successively relegated us to league 1 the way some go on.

He’s done the job we wanted when he came in. Soon it will be time to depart, either before January or at the end of the season. It’s really no bigger deal in reality than that. He came in and did the job we paid him to. People are acting like he’s eaten their children though.

This is the thing though when people go on about people dying on a hill for Dyche or building a shrine to him and all that nonsense. I think I’ve only seen one person on here who wants him to stay beyond the end of the current season and that was Dave and even that was only potentially for one further one, and it was before the ownership announcement.

As far as most are concerned now we are taken over its job done as per the contract we brought him in on. If he goes now the new owners are selecting a long term strategic choice rather than Kia telling Moshiri he’s got Vitor Pereira free for an interim on sky high wages to keep us up. If the owners want to keep him until the summer he has completed his contract and we shake hands.
This you?

If
‘Saved the club’
‘Kept us up’
‘reduced the wage bill’
‘increased player trading profits’
‘Improved Branthwaite’ (obviously everyone else is someone else’s fault or they’re crap)

Sounds like he’s one of the top managers in world football from your crap above
he reduced the wage
Increased player trading
And er well he kept us up with a points deduction.

Three things he achieved, that means the next manager under the new ownership, manage in the premier league, and will be able to invest in players and hopefully push on.

I think history will look at him better.
Took over a club on its knees and kept the head above water.

Is he the DOF?
