2024/25 Sean Dyche

The minute he kept Kenwright on it was never going work. Bill was all about us still be that traditional little club despite it being obvious that PL clubs needed to be run as a business. Add in the first round of appointments, Steve Walsh (Never done the DoF role before) Ronald Koeman (Never wanted to leave Southampton) then Kenwright and Moshiri, all 4 of them buying players independently showing a complete lack of any plan, it was always going to be a disaster imo.
The kenwright stench and lack of ambition still runs through the club, just listening to the Athletic pod on YouTube with Paddy Boyland, Matt slater,
Mainly about TFG, but paddy at the end said dyche is very well liked throughout the club. I mean how embarrassing. We need to sack the lot of them and start again.

By who though, we don't exactly have a proper structure do we. Does he mean Chong/Moshiri? or is he on about Thelwell/Baines/Tait those types, cause I'm hoping most of those will be given the boot over time tbh. Dyche may well be a sound bloke and popular but that doesn't mean he is any good or good enough.

Probably Chong and Thelwell for starters, and I’m sure there’s a few old staff that still talk about kenwright. Is prentice still there?

I’m sure Bill was a lovely man and did a lot of good things outside the club. But as an owner and chairman he was horrendous. And would have got run out of town very quickly if he was at a club with any ambition. All this he’s a blue and is doing his best Nonsense used to wind me up and then being totally protected by the local media.

I listened to another pod yesterday with Guilia Bould on and I get she can’t slag Dyche or the club, because she wants access. But she constantly bangs the drum about how hard it’s been for him, getting questions in pressers that he shouldn’t need to answer, but she doesn’t even it up by saying, if we had an interested owner and proper board in place he would have been sacked last season.

That is exactly what i think the Friedkin group will do tbh. They are experienced professionals and absolutely ruthless. They will be formulating a plan for a complete reset of a failed football club with ambitious professional people they know can do the job they want and are reliable etc. I fully expect them to replace almost everyone, maybe not right away but over a period of time. There will be a few immediate changes though i think as in at hierarchy and manager level to stop the rot from the top and set a foundation for stability and progression.

I have only known Benitez & Fat sam who were so disengaged with the fans, as this clown

Can't wait until he goes
I can’t get my head around it to be honest . The former RS , a terrible appointment and I hated him unsurprisingly he didn’t engage with us . Sam , weird for all he’d spoken about wanting a bit club completely disengaged and no interest in anything but his pay off it seems .

This fella , he’s on a good screw , we’re almost certainly the biggest club he’ll get and that press conference after we stayed up seemed to indicate he fancied it and had plans . since then though he’s seemed totally not interested, I get it can’t be easy working here but why not try to build a relationship. Feels really counter intuitive

Think their are very evident signs he is trying to transition it, hes gone from a midfield three, to a two with an extra man in attack and improved the goal scoring out put and key deficiency we are all acutely aware of after the last three seasons.

Hes on to a looser though, he keeps it solid and gets results its "dog crap" football, he try's to open it up and we get tanked "then he needs results".

Its half the reason you cant take this thread seriously.
Im on record as saying that you have to look at in the summer anyway given his and the squad contract situation - its what any well run organisation would do - its a bad organization that doesn't do it - im also not closed minded to him being the best candidate either, the change of ownership situation changes it again and adds another variable. If i was the TFG i wouldn't change my breakfast cereal for 6 months on the footballing side.

Whatever happens in the future - hes done a phenomenal job here, if he goes he will have my absolute respect, admiration and gratitude.
Just brilliant
