How Keane wasn't offloaded ruthlessly over the last few summers I don't know. In no sane world dies he get to hang around a club for so long, stinking the place out.

Yep.Agree its not the easiest run of games but you can't just write off the start of the season.
Teams get unexpected results - Forest yday.
The worst thing for me is not having the players ready again. They're clearly not fit enough to start the season.
The preseason was a shambles and it didn't have to be. The first few games set the tone for the whole season and he flunks it every time.
Exactly same at Burnley if I remember correctly.
You've used Keane's name three times...look at the page number. How Keane wasn't offloaded ruthlessly over the last few summers I don't know. In no sane world dies he get to hang around a club for so long, stinking the place out.
Why did he go 5 at the back at 2-2 and not at half time when it was still 2-1? I thought it was a bit strange
Wasn't it carlo that give both Keane and Holgate big new contracts.A 5 year contract!!!! Which genius gave him (Keane) that???????
Apologies, this is the Dyche thread, but there's a lot of Keane chat.
That contract certainly ain't Dyche's fault.
He should've made the change at half timeHe should have gone to it at 2-0...it's clear that teams are flooding our 18 and we don't have the numbers to deal with it. One centerback gets pulled out and now we're hoping that a fullback (even though we don't have any) are winning headers against 2-3 players.
We're already sitting back, might as well add a player who's an actual defender back there.
I think he assumed that he would be allowed to buld a large squad, for the medium-long term, and not have to play FFP ball? You're spot on about those two, like.Wasn't it carlo that give both Keane and Holgate big new contracts.
Amazing manager, but he was a woeful appointment and set this club back years.

So he ain’t getting sacked then is he.This doesn’t make any sense, whether he gets sacked now or in February it’ll still fall under the 2024/25 accounts.
The thing is though we literally went out and bought a new one, who was first team in France. The only reason I'm not totally the Dyche out gang, an injury to one of the best CBs in the league would make things tougher on any team, but our lack of depth makes us especially vulnerable.. If Branthwaite comes back and stays fit we'll be fine. We simply can't have Keane on the field any more, him being there has cost us 6 points, he unsettles everyone as they have to keep an eye on him for when they need to cover the next mess up.
Have you got the smell of him being gone?Has he gone yet?
