2024/25 Sean Dyche

I don’t know how noticeable it is from other parts of the ground but from where I sit in the lower bullens the way he has the full backs so narrow is a major issue in my opinion.
They are that narrow as a staring position, it makes it nearly impossible to get over and stop any crosses before they come in.
He doesn’t want to stop them, he is banking on his centre backs winning the headers. Which is exactly the same as his attacking philosophy. All the while he watches on, puffs his chest out, shouts “breathe” and then rubs copious amounts of snot all over his forehead. Dycheball

Crazy thing is he wouldnt be under so much pressure if he hadnt managed to throw a game he'd already won.
In all my years following football let alone Everton ive never seen a manager cock up a result in a match like that. Even worse is since that match he's still blaming everyone else but himself.
He is just an absolute useless manager, the longer he stays this season the more trouble we get into

He watched it back 47 times don’t you know. He’s also managed 500 games, just in case we all forgot

Sat in the paddock near the halfway line, pitch level. I could not believe the space the fullback/ winger had from McNeil, at times the lad had 10 yards easily, you could see where Southamptons out ball was all night and McNeils pitiful attempts to catch him.

So if Branthwaite gets a long term injury we just aren’t allowed to judge Dyche?

The guy is crap, his football is horrific and he’s alienating more of the fanbase every time he opens his mouth.
How does that follow?

He's saved our skins twice in two seasons.

He's got to have his best player on the pitch. No other manager coming in will keep this defence from leaking goals.

Then why did he join WBA who were a basket case fighting relegation in the Championship? They had a trigger happy owner who had no sporting directors in charge.

I don't know, you'd have to ask him, perhaps they gave him more control over other aspects of the club and backed him in the transfer market. Either way it seems to be working as they're currently top of the Championship.
