2024/25 Sean Dyche

It can turn around quick as you say .
And it can also continue in the current direction of travel .
There are no guarantees at this point .
His last season at Burnley is stark reminder of how the narrow margins his teams survive on can fail to be sufficient.
Too many 1-0’s become 1-1’s and too many 1-1’s become 1-3.
Fine margins , and the sooner you change the longer the new manager has to correct the direction.
Right I’d change because he and the team look lost to me , lacking direction , leadership and accountability.

Yeah, to a point. But he does have some excuses/reasons to fall back on like with injuries- Branthwaite is a massive, Garner IMO is too. Wolves, Brentford, Villa, Arsenal, Newcastle are the only clubs with 5+ injured players ATM - Wolves are in the same boat as we are, small squad limited funds, struggling. So there's an element of options available to him.

But he doesn't help himself either with his personality and bullish nature for some to swallow it as an excuse.

But it could be reason enough to say "alright, 10 games or at least November".

What we saying, defeat tomorrow and hes gone or nar?

I'd say, they assume points will be picked up now in the next few games so they won't be thinking at all to act based on tmros game with two home games to come

The only thing to possibly force their hand would be a battering or another wasted lead and collapse or the away fans are carrying banner!

I'd say his first real point of danger is after the palace game, less than 3 points on the board at that point plus real fan anger and it will all start to ramp up a level rapidly

I don’t really care about press conferences. I want to see improvement on the pitch.

I don’t care if the manager is handsome, if they wear tasteful knitwear, if they like to gesticulate and make a fool of themselves on the touchline.

What matters is if the manager is professional, gives his all and is good at the job.

I just care that it's not him. I don't think he deserves in any way to see us into the new stadium

No chance. Even if the fans were unanimously agreed he must go and were vocal enough in the away end, there's nobody in real authority to do it anyway.

I think he's here until after the international break, even if he loses against Leicester, Palace and Newcastle away.

Admittedly, then, he'd be at make or break against Ipswich away on the 19th October. But he's got time yet.

Because talking about this season would mean he would need to admit that his leadership has been below what is required.
This is why he needs to be sacked, Martinez is a nice guy, same with Silva, but with Dyche his arrogrance astounds me. It's one thing if you let City or RS have 70% possession, but to be outplayed by Southampton at GP is ridiculous. He's a nob who puts friendships with players ahead of Everton, he had an irrational hatred of Ellis Simms. Dyche just doesn't know how to change games and when he does change things it's usually based on having to or populism. I can take a manager not being good enough, but Dyche thinks he's Ancelotti. Our fans are too nice. He would of got his car burned out in Italy or Balkans. He's just taking piss out of Everton fans now.
