2024/25 Sean Dyche

WH to beat us by 2 or 3? Haven't they been a bit rubbish recently...???

or are you working on the - a team needs a win, or a striker needs a goal... Everton will roll over into town for you???

Suspect a close game a goal either way... hopefully 1-0 for us!"
More than anything, it's because Paqueta will have the freedom of the park.

Results pattern?

PPG this season is 0.9 which if that was maintained throughout the season would see us finish with 34 points!

In the 1st 10 games to get that PPG we have played Brighton 8th, Spurs 7th, Bournemouth 10th, Villa 6th, Leicester 15th, Crystal Palace 17th, Newcastle 11th, Ipswich 18th, Fulham 9th and Southampton 19th and none of the top 5 in the league as it currently stands. We`ve played 4 of the bottom 6!

What will that rate be after the next 10 which includes West Ham (A), Brentford (H), Man Utd (A), Wolves (H), Liverpool (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Man City (A), Forest (H) and Bournemouth (A). We are likely to be in or around the bottom 3 after those next fixtures if Dyche is not removed.

FYI the next 3 after that is Villa (H), Spurs (H), Brighton (A).... how many points can you see from them next 13? We could be in deep deep trouble after 23 games and then it is panic stations and a big ask for a new man to pick up that position than the current one.

Has to go, massively failed to kick on, majority of the fanbase want him gone, every poll is over 90% out. Seemingly the only people that want him is the self harming supporters and the self harming football club itself.
Don't disagree with that either (you can't argue with stats). I just see 3 worse teams than us getting less points. As stated before thats not an endorsement of Dyche.

Forget Dyche for a second. The club itself needs to get something from it as the run of fixtures from liverpool onwards 7th dec right to 25th jan is horrendous. I struggled to see a win within those dates.

i get that but this is literally a Sean Dyche topic. hence why I asked the question in here.

As I said mate. All about opinions. I'm not convinced he's a top, top manager or anything, but he's decent enough. You're missing the point though. People had the pitchforks at the ready when he was heavily linked with us. Now a poster is holding him up as a shining light.

One thing I'm absolutely certain of though, is that I bet most people now wish we'd appointed him instead of Benitez or Lampard, and no doubt Dyche too. Nuno has more than proved himself a very capable manager. Is he a top top manager? probably not, but once again, a lot of fans, and their opinions, were wrong.
Not me, i always thing we should be aiming higher. All these links to the likes of Thomas Frank, again not for me. I think we know exactly what we’d get with Frank and Nuno. Let’s maybe appoint someone who’s never managed in this country or the prem for once In our lives

Last 38 games we would be 10th

Yet people bemoan Dyche

I think it depends on your point of you last season if you see the overall, we almost all agree the 48p was a more than acceptable output for where we came from in 22/23. But you can then go more detail that there was a spell of 13 games not won, which isn't good.

50p in 38 games is nothing to complain about with the squad we have. Now you isolate it again in 2024 it's 31p in 28 games and the opening fixtures this season rather have been favorable and we ended with 9p after 10 games, I totally understand it's not satisfying with everyone.
