To be fair to Dyche and Burnley, they do play fantastic stuff for about 10 minutes. They almost always have a good spell in every game that determines whether they win, lose or draw. If things don’t happen within those 10 minutes, they set up shop and go for a point. It also explains why they tailed off so much. Luck was on their side in the 1st half of the season. We need better. PASS

I see very little difference between Dyche and Sam.
I can see the point in replacing Sam with Fonseca or Silva... would not agree with it, but can certainly see why you would want to .
Replacing Sam with a younger version of himself would not be a step forward.

He was in contention for manager of the season the season they went down, which is a testament to how well he did and how steep the challenge facing him was

He could have left if he'd wanted to at that point, someone in the Prem would have taken him
