We are just unbelievably deluded as a fanbase. We are a small club, and we will be until Kenwright is gone, accept it.

I think we could have attracted far bigger names at the start of summer but no top manager would touch this squad it’s absolutely poisonous. Slow, over weight, mentally weak, stupid, cowardly, injury prone, injury riven, completely unbalanced. We’ve got no premier league standard striker, and no fit premier league standard defender. It’s a death trap. Only British coaches from far smaller teams will be interested or absolute ego maniacs from abroad who fancy some sort of miraculous turn around in the hoping of getting a bigger European job. Any up and coming prodigy or established trophy winner would not touch the sick man of the premier league.

Exactly this. People can come and join the real world whenever they want, we're open 24/7.

At least @Mikey_Fitzgerald might finally get his dream of Robbie Brady playing for us.

My opinion is thus;

So long as we're winning, I'm not arsed if it's not flowing exciting football

I don't go to watch Everton to be entertained. I'm going the match, not a night at the theatre

I'll take an ugly win every time out if that's what it takes

The armchair fans might not be happy unless we're doing loads of passing and step overs, but I couldn't care less

Win, I don't care how, just win

If Dyche can do that, whilst playing some of the kids along the way, then he's okay with me

PS
And yeah, I love Robbie Brady. Tierney at LB and Brady on the left wing would suit me just fine

It was a fake Twitter account mate. It doesn't get more jarg than that. There was no 'link'.

Doesn't matter if it was a good link, someone would have looked through 4 years worth of posting history to find one transfer he got wrong.

Sky sports sources have proved to be utter jarg as well. If there was actual proof we'd approached him then I'd agree with the outrage, but everyone just wants to moan and moan.

No real reason to appoint Dyche over Unsworth is there really?

Would basically upset the entire backroom staff and inform them 'you've got no real route to the top job here, we'd appoint Dyche before you'.

Would expect Unsy, Ferguson, Ebrell, Jeffers, quite a few of them to move on if gets appointed.

Troubling.

Just no. This has a feeling of when Liverpool got bullied into appointing Hodgson by the media because he was English and flavour of the month.

With Dyche, kiss goodbye to any ambition to challenging for the top 4. It would signal that we had our chance in the summer, blew it and are reverting to plucky old Everton. We have been stung and are reaching out for our comfort blanket. It may also signal that Moshiri will no longer be funding us like he was.

There is a manager out there, who you don't need to pay compensation for, who would guarantee us premier league safety and who would happily leave in the summer with a bonus for keeping us up. But because of his past, this club won't touch him with a barge pole.

We are Everton "and do things the right way." And if that hinders Everton's ability to compete, challenge for the top, so be it. We won the being nice competition.

Classic illustration of the mismanagement they had blighted this club for 30 years.

LOL. I think we kissed goodbye to that ambition when we went into the season with half a squad.

LOL, so now people reckon walsh was picking the teams and Bill is chosing the manager over international business supremo Moshiri, cos thats really how self-made billionaires work??!

this .. 100%

and the sooner brady replaces baines and ben mee replaces Williams the better.

I just want us safe and winning matches. 1-0 2-1 3-2 5-0 doesn't bother me how we win or by how much.

sick of watching this this team of geriatrics lose their bottle on the 28th minute every game when they are knackered.

One link is someone pretending to be a journalist on Twitter with about 50 followers and the other is a major news broadcaster.

I know which one i would believe first.

And if anyone thinks otherwise to my recent post. Watch last night's game. Truly turgid football

That was going through my mind as I watched it (for about twenty minutes before I could watch no more).

Yes, I know we have had spells befire when the football has been turgid.

But that was just because either the players were bad or the manager was clueless.

But never, ever did we have a manager for whom the turgidness and dourness of the football was a tactical objective in its own right.

Please, please, please.....do not let Dyche anywhere near our club.
