We are already doing this and it's not workingGet ready for a load of hoofball to Calvert Lewin
We are just unbelievably deluded as a fanbase. We are a small club, and we will be until Kenwright is gone, accept it.
I think we could have attracted far bigger names at the start of summer but no top manager would touch this squad it’s absolutely poisonous. Slow, over weight, mentally weak, stupid, cowardly, injury prone, injury riven, completely unbalanced. We’ve got no premier league standard striker, and no fit premier league standard defender. It’s a death trap. Only British coaches from far smaller teams will be interested or absolute ego maniacs from abroad who fancy some sort of miraculous turn around in the hoping of getting a bigger European job. Any up and coming prodigy or established trophy winner would not touch the sick man of the premier league.
At least @Mikey_Fitzgerald might finally get his dream of Robbie Brady playing for us.
It was a fake Twitter account mate. It doesn't get more jarg than that. There was no 'link'.
Just no. This has a feeling of when Liverpool got bullied into appointing Hodgson by the media because he was English and flavour of the month.
With Dyche, kiss goodbye to any ambition to challenging for the top 4. It would signal that we had our chance in the summer, blew it and are reverting to plucky old Everton. We have been stung and are reaching out for our comfort blanket. It may also signal that Moshiri will no longer be funding us like he was.
There is a manager out there, who you don't need to pay compensation for, who would guarantee us premier league safety and who would happily leave in the summer with a bonus for keeping us up. But because of his past, this club won't touch him with a barge pole.
We are Everton "and do things the right way." And if that hinders Everton's ability to compete, challenge for the top, so be it. We won the being nice competition.
Classic illustration of the mismanagement they had blighted this club for 30 years.
My opinion is thus;
So long as we're winning, I'm not arsed if it's not flowing exciting football
I don't go to watch Everton to be entertained. I'm going the match, not a night at the theatre
I'll take an ugly win every time out if that's what it takes
The armchair fans might not be happy unless we're doing loads of passing and step overs, but I couldn't care less
Win, I don't care how, just win
If Dyche can do that, whilst playing some of the kids along the way, then he's okay with me
PS
And yeah, I love Robbie Brady. Tierney at LB and Brady on the left wing would suit me just fine
Doesn't matter if it was a good link, someone would have looked through 4 years worth of posting history to find one transfer he got wrong.
Sky sports sources have proved to be utter jarg as well. If there was actual proof we'd approached him then I'd agree with the outrage, but everyone just wants to moan and moan.
And if anyone thinks otherwise to my recent post. Watch last night's game. Truly turgid football
