I think when a player signs they trot out any reason to make it seem like it was the manager who brought him. He was desperate for a striker on loan and was offered Lukaku by Chelsea. It was between us and West Brom and by all accounts even then it was close.

Apart from Poch and Pep I doubt there's any manager that attracts players in this league.

Got to a disagree with that make, particularly when its an overseas player who doesn't really give a dam about the club . The manager has got to sell himself and the club to the player. I'm sure the likes of Jose, Conte or even Klopp for that matter do make a difference

i think he'd be a really good fit for you. he will organise your team, which is what you need. also burnley play some pretty good football. not just hoof ball. I'm not sure if he'd leave burnley though as they seem a good fit.
