Season Ticket Tenure Check Link

Just because you’re not going to please everyone isn’t really an argument against not trying to be as fair as possible.
I think the point most people are making is that they think it is as fair as possible. The point you appear to be making is that it’s not what you wanted, which is a rather different thing and shouldn’t really be conflated.

Of course it’s fair, it takes account of everyone’s tenure not just the lowest and ignoring the long serving STH. I don’t think people are going to start taking advantage and if that really was an issue you can resolve it by just operating average group tenure for those people who already sit together or those people who are already registered with club for friends and family members! At the minute you’re going to have thousands of STH with full 23 years who’s loyalty is going to count for nothing!
I've given you a scenario, explain how it is fair that two season ticket holders could leap ahead of me to pick a seat purely on the basis that they have pooled together with someone with a much longer tenure?

How is season ticket holder loyalty counting for nothing? The longer someone has held a season ticket the sooner they get to choose! What you are suggesting is that they should also have the ability to transfer some of that to other season ticket holders. That is not fair in any way, shape or form.

I'll ask again, how is that fair to the thousands of season ticket holders who will be picking their seat alone?

I think a seats a seat, some people don’t have the chance to get a ST.

It seems some want to have their cake and eat it, manipulating tenures to get the best solution for them. Strikes of nepotism, cryonism and Toryism.
Next it’ll be people putting towels on the back of seats at 4am every Saturday morning.

The club seem to have offered solutions that won’t impact an individual other than by choice.

I don’t see how people’s desire to sit with someone else should put them ahead of an individual season ticket holder who’s just happy to be at the game.

C’mon people are all ready sitting together why should they suffer a detriment to stay sitting together! Averaging it out is a lot fairer than the proposed option of just taking the lowest tenure.
As the majority of people seem to agree the way the club have went about it is the fairest way.

You will still be able to sit with your current group, and still have thousands of seats to choose from.

If the club done as you proposed STs with lower tenure could get bumped up above others. If you where in that scenario and you where being bumped down the list at the expense of people with less years you'd likely be changing tune.

My appeal has just been knocked back as I have no proof of a season ticket sat next to my mate for 33 years in the upper bullens we have good seats by the way, he has the full tenure while mine is five years short, I find the club not very helpful but I’m sure others will be in the same boat as me they have now closed my appeal so not a lot I can do about it.

Were you not able to give them evidence at all of any previous season tickets?

I've appealed and given them an old customer number, exact seat details and the old address it was registered to so I'm hoping I'll get a few more years.

Trouble is, a lot of them were before 2002 so if I do get any extra tenure it won't be much.
