Funny, mates got a coupleThat’s a bit harsh.
I bought one share with a bonus from work, about 10 years ago. Not for any return, just to be “involved” in the club.
I’m a bit hurt with that one.

Just because you’re not going to please everyone isn’t really an argument against not trying to be as fair as possible. But people would be unhappy with that too that’s the point. You can’t please everyone. If you’re a sensible person you accept that, if you’re not you kick off and say you’re being victimised.
I think the point most people are making is that they think it is as fair as possible. The point you appear to be making is that it’s not what you wanted, which is a rather different thing and shouldn’t really be conflated.Just because you’re not going to please everyone isn’t really an argument against not trying to be as fair as possible.
I've given you a scenario, explain how it is fair that two season ticket holders could leap ahead of me to pick a seat purely on the basis that they have pooled together with someone with a much longer tenure?Of course it’s fair, it takes account of everyone’s tenure not just the lowest and ignoring the long serving STH. I don’t think people are going to start taking advantage and if that really was an issue you can resolve it by just operating average group tenure for those people who already sit together or those people who are already registered with club for friends and family members! At the minute you’re going to have thousands of STH with full 23 years who’s loyalty is going to count for nothing!
C’mon people are all ready sitting together why should they suffer a detriment to stay sitting together! Averaging it out is a lot fairer than the proposed option of just taking the lowest tenure.
As the majority of people seem to agree the way the club have went about it is the fairest way.C’mon people are all ready sitting together why should they suffer a detriment to stay sitting together! Averaging it out is a lot fairer than the proposed option of just taking the lowest tenure.
Think we'll all be absolutely sound if you've got a season ticket, just based on pure numbers alone that we're letting another 10k? That theoretically we'll all be ahead of?
you have just described my first 3 years of going the match to a tee, it got to the point i was going in on my own for a pound in the top balconey which included the program and another pound off my uncle for food why they stayed in the pup drinking
Were you not able to give them evidence at all of any previous season tickets? My appeal has just been knocked back as I have no proof of a season ticket sat next to my mate for 33 years in the upper bullens we have good seats by the way, he has the full tenure while mine is five years short, I find the club not very helpful but I’m sure others will be in the same boat as me they have now closed my appeal so not a lot I can do about it.
