Season Ticket Tenure Check Link

Were you not able to give them evidence at all of any previous season tickets?

I've appealed and given them an old customer number, exact seat details and the old address it was registered to so I'm hoping I'll get a few more years.

Trouble is, a lot of them were before 2002 so if I do get any extra tenure it won't be much.

What Tenure did they have you down as having? What was your starting season?
I'm not sure they were meaning people could claim for 30 years if you had the evidence, it was just if they had you down as 10, but you could prove you had 23 due to customer numbers or address etc.

They don't have to do it the other way. The fair way is to average the tenure for the full group! The two unfair methods would have been to base it on the longest tenure of the group or the shortest tenure of the group. The club have chosen the second unfair method. It's not complicated, you're applying as a group so average the tenure for the group.

You're only considering fairness for you and your group, not the fanbase.

Me and my Dad both have 23 years. Say the lad next to me had one year, our average would be 15, rounded down to a full year.

That means a lad whose paid £700 for one year of tickets gets a choice ahead of thousands of others who have likely paid more than 12x that amount over the years (accounting for price increases). That may seem fair to the 3 people who are kept together, but its absolutely not to the thousands of others. If you look at that scenario happening on multiple occasions, the number of those who benefit increases, but the negative affect on others goes up much faster and rises exponentially.

Would get back in touch with them is a pain but best thing to do. Esp if over the timeframe the have it to appeal, would just say missed your chance
Just looked on my Tenure and appears the portal has been closed down
Guessing it was only open for a period of time…

When I muster the energy I will call them😃

Also problem with that is what is the number the group , think whatever they did would have caused problems for some fans. Just depends what side on, i can see points from both sides

The way they have chosen to do it seems the fairest to me! If you want to sit with someone who has years less than you then wait. Plenty of seats to go around. No way that someone with a lower tenure should be boosted (apart from kids for obvious reasons).

My appeal has just been knocked back as I have no proof of a season ticket sat next to my mate for 33 years in the upper bullens we have good seats by the way, he has the full tenure while mine is five years short, I find the club not very helpful but I’m sure others will be in the same boat as me they have now closed my appeal so not a lot I can do about it.
