Season Tickets 2016/17- Nothing Will Be The Same

Class move by the club, and something every club should take notice of. Proud to be blue, just a shame it's too much of a commute to justify a season ticket

You are absolutely spot on mate. To me it seems we are turning the screw on ensuring mums and dads or older brothers and sisters can start ( or continue )to take the young kids to the match.

In turn, when a new stadium is built and we are all wondering how we will fill a 55k stadium, the demand will be there as they've already been hooked in advance.

I hope this is something that we continue to do, always looking at our prices compared to our competitors and looking at rewarding the fans. Without fans, football becomes irrelevant.

Best news in all of this is juniors going from 16 to 18 and getting £50 off, a quarter of the price! Seems we are trying to corner the local youth market that the RS are ignoring in favour of day trippers and tourists.

Stands in good stead for years to come if that is the plan. Gangs of young lads, all together on the ale and going home and away for fair prices warms my heart.

Spot on.
Good for us, as fans putting our hands in our pockets, and good for the club long term so makes good business sense.

Very exciting numbers with 1 in 4 under 22 (around 7k). That is a really substantial base to build from going forward. I hope this signifies a wider strategy to try and build/get a bigger stadium and the need to cement and grow as wide a season ticket base as possible.

I think with a bit of success it would be easy to see Everton grow to have mid to high 30,000's season ticket base.

And then they get older and pay the adult prices, it's a great long term plan and shows up the rest of the thieving clubs for what they are......
Great move. Laying the foundations to filling a bigger capacity stadium in a few years.

Nar, I think this is on Bill myself.

Not that Moshi didnt sign off on it like.

Maybe so mate, just was reading the letter from Moshiri/Usmanov that they released openly a few years back showing their aims/goals and vision and this one point stuck out

So what is Red & White's vision for the Club? It is simple. A debt free Club, with a big enough war chest to buy top talent players who can hit the ground running and who can complement the Club's long tradition of developing young players and homegrown talent. Together they can help the Club win the most prestigious trophies - because it is the trophies which are the crowning achievement for everybody at the Club. The trophies are also key to the commercial success of the Club - they increase the value of the players, the value of the brand, attract the best sponsors and maximize the value of our commercial contracts which should in turn mean that the Club does not have to squeeze any more income from hard pressed fans.

Made me immediately sit up when i saw the new ticket pricing model, IF Moshiri does intend to follow the path laid out in that letter - which you have to expect was written by him rather than Usmanov, then it bodes very very well indeed for the future
