Just said this in the kopite thread, and they call us bitter. Moshiris proper got them flusteredI have to laugh at all the media reports regarding this on Twitter, and there's always at least one Kopite replying about 'you need to do this to fill your ground'.
The ironic thing is we really don't. Season ticket sales for this season were at a 25 year high.
It's just jealousy pure and simple. Their club only freezes prices (for some, not all; some have actually gone up) - but not before trying to charge £77 a ticket.
The stat that 1 in 4 EFC season ticket holders are aged 22 or under should scare the living daylights out of the arrogant RS. Whilst they're chasing the tourism buck, EFC are winning over the whole next generation in this city/surrounding area.
And really, they're bragging about their 'waiting lists' etc, but paying a third/double more than what I pay, are they seeing anything that's any better than what I see at Goodison? Some people simply don't get it.
Manchester City charged the league's lowest adult ticket price at £299, ahead of current league leaders Leicester City's adult renewal cost of £365.
Absolutley - a kid that has been going from 7+ has it in their blood and will always go the game. My lad will be getting his 12th ST - he is 17! and it is now half last years price 149 instead of 300. He will be a lifelong STH as its his passion and way of life now. Well in Everton! And then they get older and pay the adult prices, it's a great long term plan and shows up the rest of the thieving clubs for what they are......
.This is a brilliant piece of customer relationship management and PR. At the cost of less than £750,000 Everton have pulled off a master-stroke in terms of PR, and demonstrated a subtlety that was beyond the existing management team, I'm sure that new influences have been at work here.
Great news, the most exciting statistic is more than 25% of season tickets are below the age of 22 - this is what secures our future support and demonstrates the management acting as custodians for future generations.

We have about 72% of our seats as STH, one of the higher percentages in the EPL, the RS have about 55% as STH, one of the lowest...I cba doing the Maths on the actual numbers...they can go on about this mythical waiting list but if it exists it's because the have far fewer STH's......
They deliberately have a low number os ST's due to the need to have so many tickets open for the tour packages from abroad mate, seriously who you think spends all that money in the club shops for them, it's not the local rs thats for sure,
Indeed, on my last visit there with a RS mate, to watch Chelsea give them a stuffing, the Kop Shop was packed with Germans, Norwegians and Spaniards. I may have made a comment about being the only scouser there..........
