I think its just based on age mate but there's no harm in asking the club.

I thought that but I'm sure i read somewhere about uni/first job etc.. I might of dreamt it but I'll ask club like you said. No harm in asking

I don't think you imagined mate as I'm sure I read similar on here. I'm on my mobile phone and I'm sure I remember reading it on one of the first 5 pages on here about the first job/uni. Something is definitely mentioned about it, not sure if it's a discount though.

not half

'kin dead right, remember my estimation if they reduced prices would cost 9mill MAX, well with 1 in 4 being kids then I reckon it'd be about 4 mill MAX.

anyway where's the Adult Prices ?

Fans aged between 18 and 22, at university or college, on apprenticeships or in their first jobs, or trying to find work will be able to buy a ‘Young Adult’ Season Ticket fixed at £299 across all stands, replacing this season’s price of up to £382, and costing our young adult fans less than £16 per game to watch Premier League action at Goodison Park.

Prices are also reduced in the Senior category with a Season Ticket in any stand in the stadium reduced to £299, representing a saving of between £29 and £86 for the 3,000 fans in this age group.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Elstone said: “Throughout the current season, the Premier League has been challenged on pricing decisions. As we have said repeatedly, we endorse such scrutiny. We have listened and we agree. We believe our pricing plan for Season Tickets for 2016/17 clearly demonstrates our commitment to providing value for money and to making the game accessible to the widest possible cross-section of supporters.”

“After listening to fans, consulting with our Fans’ Forum, considering different options, reviewing budgets and sharing our ideas with the Board, we made the decision to ensure our Season Ticket pricing for 2016/17 offered something for everyone. We were conscious of the substantial uplift in the value of our media rights next season and reflecting how we operate at Everton, not only will we offer significant savings for the majority of our young and senior Evertonians, we will reward all adult Season Ticket holders with a price reduction of one-nineteenth, one free game, and more than £27 off in the Lower Bullens.”

Almost 25,000 fans benefited from the Early Bird price window when purchasing Season Tickets for the 2015/16 campaign and the Club’s ongoing commitment to make football affordable for families and young people has resulted in one in four current Season Ticket holders being under the age of 22. The Early Bird window for Season Ticket sales will open on Monday, 21 March at 8am and will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, 25 May. The Guarantee Your Seat Deadline for existing Season Ticket holders will be Tuesday, 3 May.

Everton will continue to offer a nine-month interest free payment option through MasterCard, and a Direct Debit facility available over 10 monthly instalments. There will be no booking fee for online transactions.

An Important thing there for me as well is the guarantee your seat deadline..3rd May extending my get a job to be able to renew deadline, for me it should always have extended beyond the end of the season. Might even do minimum payments on the mastercard then do an interest free balance transfer thing as well to defer it all, no chance she's getting her way, she'll try to force me to give it up & then we'll go our separate ways.... they think we're thick (although last years renewal was almost the final nail).

@marsh here it is mate, £299.00 all stands for a "young season ticket"

The early bird stuff should be made clearer. You must renew by I think 1 may but early bird is available til later in the month by which point you might have lost your seat. Why the two dates?

Seems to me like they're offering early bird prices for non-st holders!

Seems to me like they're offering early bird prices for non-st holders!

last year the seat deadline was about a month before the early bird deadline, I'm thinking early bird was for everyone then but remember something about renewing & returning season ticket holders (within 3 years ?)

yeah it was, I just found it ....
http://www.evertonfc.com/chosen/price-freeze

pretty certain that it was last year that mine went up from £399 TO £444 THOUGH ?

2015/16 ....

Everton has announced a freeze on ALL Season Ticket prices for the 2015/16 season.

Rewarding our record number of Season Ticket holders during the 2014/15 season and reinforcing the Club’s commitment to ensuring Goodison Park remains affordable for fans of all ages, 2015/16 Season Tickets went on sale on Monday, February 23 at 8am.

Adult Season Tickets start at £444, with Concession Season Tickets available from £328. Pricing for children under 11* remains at £95 (equating to £5 per game) while Junior Season Tickets (under 16s**) are also frozen at £149 in the Family Enclosure and £199 throughout the remainder of the stadium.

The window for Early Bird Discount has been extended to Sunday, May 24, offering a minimum 25 per cent saving for renewing and returning Season Ticket holders when compared to purchasing on an individual game basis. For the first time new Season Ticket holders will benefit from the same discount.

Payment plan options remain in place and last year a record number of fans took up the opportunity to secure their Season Ticket through the Everton MasterCard nine-month interest-free offer or Direct Debit, allowing up to 10 monthly instalments.

As in previous years, there will be no booking fee for online purchases.

Chief Executive Robert Elstone said: “The commitment of the Club to providing value for money and to making the game accessible to the widest possible cross-section of supporters means I’m pleased to confirm a price freeze on all Season Ticket offers. We also work hard every season to offer diverse payment options to help fans spread the cost. A fair pricing policy and the ambition demonstrated by the Club both on and off the pitch continues to ensure that average attendance remains up and Goodison Park plays out to more full houses, giving the team the best possible chance of success.”

so last season the 1st that early bird was available to all since it was introduced, mustve been before then that 'returning' st holders got it as well as renewers.

The text is quite confusing, makes reference to uni, college, first job/apprenticeship but in the same sentence as under 22.

Hopefully it is also for uni students aged 22+.

Yeah it is but surely if your under 22 you can get under 22 season ticket without being in uni so like you said hopefully its for 22+ n can get a young adult one

Fans aged between 18 and 22, at university or college, on apprenticeships or in their first jobs, or trying to find work will be able to buy a ‘Young Adult’ Season Ticket fixed at £299 across all stands,

Am I right to deduce from that the unemployed will be able to get a ticket from £299? If so, that's bloody brilliant. Well done, Everton.
