Just received the updated Android email from the club. Still doesn't work. When I click on the link, it opens a browser tab which reads:
"This item cannot be saved on this device"



No idea why. I use Google Pay all the time, NFC is always on.

Cracked it. If anyone is having the same issue, load your email in a web browser, do not click on the link in the email from your email app. For me, I had to sign into outlook.com in Chrome then click the link from Everton rather than use the outlook app - daft, but it worked.

Tried the link in a web browser but still got the same error message.
 
Just been to the ground with a picture of my season ticket in Wallet Pass (on Android phone). Two IT guys from Everton at the test turnstiles were very helpful and sent me an email with a proper link which I then clicked on and immediately had the ticket in Google Pay. Then tested it at Turnstile 2 and got in first time, no problem. Got home 20 minutes later just as the "Ignore the previous email" email arrived!
Obvious question: How come it took so long to send this link? The system was obviously only tested on Apple, which is a pitifully amateurish approach from Everton.
By the way, I had to delete the picture I had in Wallet Pass before the download to G Pay worked.
 

I paid the fiver for our cards and have luckily received them a while back, so none of this shambles for me, or so I thought.

The email I just got states I've been allocated a time for entry, but I'll be jiggered if I can find out where or what time that is anywhere?! I ain't got the digital ticket?

Anybody know where I need to look?

They done that for the wolves game, time slots and so on ,no one looked really arsed to be honest. Don't worry you'll get in no matter what imo
 
If it helps put anyone’s mind at rest. I’m on Apple and I have no QR or bar code just a blue box in the wallet. I’ve just been down to try it and it is working okay. ?
 

Choose chrome as preferred browser on phone. Worked for me. Tried ringing the phone line but the jingle of bill and denise singing happy days for three hours non stop made me weep

I’ve had the same email but no time. Tbh, it just looks like a template email from previous lockdown games. I went to the Wolves game, got allocated a time, told them I couldn’t make that time and they just said it was guidance and to get there whenever. I can’t make Saturday’s game but my lads are going and don’t have a time on their emails either. I’d just ignore it, personally.
