There's loads of reasons why we lose tomorrow

• It's Liverpool FC Day with all the goings on
• It's just *them* and we dont ever do *them* in a big match
• We have a manager who goes into a cold sweat at the sight of an all-red kit

.......etc etc.


Some stuff we might hold onto:

• Jelavic - he looks like an utterly ruthless [Poor language removed], the likes of whom we haven't seen at the club for years. He looks a winner to me, and I for one could care less if he's throwing himself to the deck and ccnning refs for the winning goal in this or any other game.*
• Heitinga - he's another one that your happy is your tvvat and not the opposition's. He's found his mojo with us now. In the WC he looked like one of those players who thought that "if only the rest of this Dutch team were like me and Van Bommel then we'd make short work of these ****ing Spanish dwarfs." Even tough he plays for us, I just dont associate him with losing.
• Fellaini - will be eating up that Wembley turf all day long like the rangy thoroughbred he is. This could be the game the whole world sits up and takes notice of our classical conducter.
• What's going on with *them*. That day of the long knives yesterday: I have the feeling that was a big, big shock to that organisation. If that happened to us I'd be rocking side to side in the foetal position cursing our fortune to have a huge event happen on the eve of a big game. I have a sneaky feeling they dont know whether they're coming or going at that club right now...and it might just be the time to catch them cold.

Not hedging my bets: we're right up against it and they *will* win, IMO - and by a couple. But those points above leave me with the nagging feeling that it's not completely done and dusted.
