I would happily pay a few million for Romero on a 3 year deal then in 1-2 seasons bring in a top class keeper to replace Pickford as our long term one.

I think the best best teams have stability at the back and its daft bringing someone in if Pickford is gonna be guaranteed the starting spot regardless.

Someone like Romero has a chance of taking his place whereas for me Olsen and even the Spurs fella likely doesnt.

I’d be happy with him also mate he’s a solid option, nothing special. I still don’t think he’d come here as number 1, it would completely destroy Pickford and I don’t think we want to do that.

Pickford definitely makes the defence nervous and he needs to either massively up his game or he’s gonna be out the team for whoever signs tonight.

What makes you think we’re getting top 4? We’ve played four games.

Could just as easily swap that out for top 6 tbh, his point is valid. We are finishing at least 2 places below where we should if we have Jordan Pickford as our goalkeeper for the season.
