wait so what's the rule for injuries? how much time is supposed to be added on, that seems like a much better discussion since this seems a no-brainer to me as well.
being raised on american sports i'm used to clock stoppages, so it did seem a bit silly at first that rather than calculating exactly how much time was used by the stoppage, you would keep the clock running and make a rough estimate at the end, though i do like how the rule means the sport doesn't lend itself to commercials.
don't need the whole discussion but what was the verdict? do you add on based on how long the injury was or what?
