Costa Rica is supposed to be good. Real ECO hotels in the Jungle. Monkeys and stuff too
Now looking at San Cristobal in the Galapagos or Anguilla, need to look more in-depth. That still puts us in island territory so the threat of eventual burnout may still apply. To me, the Galapagos may have more about it but with all the nature docs I have watched over the years, it might just seem that way and not be true. Never heard Anguilla mentioned in a large way anywhere but it's come up multiple times in snorkeling searches, so that may be the ticket.

Prolly end up in the 'kin Keys when all is said and done, FFS.

Any interest in Colombia? Lots to do and some great beaches, scuba diving
