Just so I've got this right :

You bumped into a gay Chinese man, who is married to a British lad from Manchester.

He took offence and turned up at your place with two bodyguards.

Some questions I feel need answering.

What was the Chinese lad doing whilst all this was going on ?

I'd be worried that the Chinese guy is a master of martial arts and has given you a form of death punch, I read there's a way to hit someone causing death sometimes even days after the blow, apparently that's what killed Bruce Lee according to some folk. Admittedly it's unlikely but seeing how you're living in some form of Bruce Lee story it's a possibility to consider.
