January window. He had to do his national service so we needed to loan him back till summer.

Basically hes an attacking midfielder and meant to be the next number 10 playmaker for Switzerland (i was told when we got him from a swiss mate). Hes only 21 years old and just made his debut for swiss national team.

Supposedly a few big clubs were after him. We got him for £2.5mil and i think he will be understudy to Barkley.

How old are you my friend ?

I find a lot of youngsters look at the price paid for a player and see £30m+ as instantly class.
Spend £5m on a player and he cant be all that.
Nothing personal just genuinely interested...

I don't mean it like that, obviously if you look at John Stone we bought him for a tiny amount and look how much we could of sold him for..

I just think that we won't see them play first team, Rodriguez isn't that young and if we get a new manager I think he'll look to ship him off. I don't know much about this Shani so we'll have to see what's done with him when he returns back off loan..

Leandro is one for the future, so is shani, everyone has a phenomenal future here my friend lol so says bobby.

Not that I don't echo your sentiments mate but he's hardly an established international playmaker with his 1 cap. Steve Guppy got a run at left mid for England to give him a go haha. I haven't seen a lot of this kid but if he is that good I worry about Barkley. I don't care what people say he isn't a defensive or centre mid. I don't want to see him shoe horned into the midfield, he can't learn from his mistakes which for the most part he's worked well on this season if he isn't playing in the position that would put him in the situations he needs to improve at

Ummm.... The Swiss national team isn't exactly Brazil. I don't like writing players off but I also don't think we should big the lad up until we see him play a game in the league. The Swiss national league and the Prem are very different in style and levels of quality. It isn't like he is a mainstay in the national team either, he's only just gone and got his first couple of caps.

I reckon Tarashaj will be backup for barkley but will get a fair amount of time because we shouldnt be playing Barkley 90mins every week anyway and for some games he should be rested.

Having said that i think Tarashaj will take a season to settle in and also get some games out wide to ease him in.

I agree, if Barkley is firing on all cylinders he should by the nature of his attacking style and the extra getting stuck in we want him to do be absolutely goosed if he does that week in week out. To be honest I think he's suffering from it a little at the moment
