Go to your GP and tell him to check your prostrate gland it's a 3 minute test unpleasant but not painful ask him to put plenty of lubricant on his gloved finger, as some GPS can be rough.
I go for mine every 12 months because of a past serious illness prostrate problems can cause different symptoms and no symptoms it's known as the silent killer in men.
Your symptoms can be something else completely, but a 3 minute test can rule the worry out striaght away!

Good shout, my grandad died with prostate cancer (not of), my dad has an enlarged prostate and now suffers from leaky man syndrome. I went to Gp and they said I didn't need a prostate check! Now my peeing strength has changed when bladder full , balls to it I'm going back and insist on a check, this thread has promoted me to go.... x
It's probably Prostatitis - I had it a few years back. But as already said, obviously go to your doctor ASAP. Don't mess around with anything in that area that flares up.

I am not being funny but tell him to put plenty of lubricant on his fingered glove it helps one GP did me and tears came in my eyes oh I forgot the lubricant the sadistic sodlol

I must say that it's nothing serious, it first started about five years ago. I can go weeks without having any pain and then it'll start again, seemingly at random during the night.

It probably is nothing serious mate, but five years is a long time to put up with a pain you're not married too.
Best to ask to see a female doc though, they tend to have smaller fingers.
As others have said, just go to your GP, and let us know how you get on.
