First half was meh however second half there was flashes of really good play particularly from Gomes who for me, that’s the best he’s played in ages .

DCL really has to learn to look up and be aware of those around him, that’s a few times I’ve seen him going to shoot rather than simply square it across for a tap, he frustrates me that kid.

Glad we won , really hoping there are significant changes from this summer on wards.

You'll probably see tonight just how dire we are. We just have no competant midfielders so the quality we do have doesnt show because the heart of the team in the middle has none.

We will see. I cant see us getting anything with no heart, no desire, and nothing to play for.

2nd half is as well as we’ve played since lockdown.

Gomes excellent. Nice aggression from the CFs.

Branthwaite did really well, and thought Keane did a great job, taking responsibility at the back, often challenging for the first ball leaving the young lad as the spare.

When Richarlison plays well the team plays well - such an important player.
decent second half, defended well, midfield quite impressive although Davies looks a bit lightweight and lose in there - there’s a lot of pressure on him to be fair.
Much better team performance, players looked arsed!
