Another very solid display at the back.

The team are gaining confidence that we won't concede and up front we know we can put one or two of our chances into the back of the net. Makes for a very solid side.

Monday will be interesting as City will attack our solid back four whilst we can play on the break - another 1-0 win ;)
Hope Richy will be fine, if we want to break fast, we need him.

Then say Gomez dived and shouldn't get away with it?
Gomez tried to draw a foul, in my opinion that is wrong. It is cheating. The dive in the first half was a very poor attempt to con the referee. Both should have been booked.
I played, albeit at amateur level, where you had to be tripped, pushed or otherwise impeded in a meaningful way to be awarded a penalty, however today’s rules appear to say it is a penalty if you get touched in the box.

When I played you had to lose both legs to get any kind of free kick

It was ugly to watch. But for Christ's sake we are up to second and winning ugly. The last time we were this impressive form-wise was when we were champions when I was 10 years old. The only thing annoying me is our fantastic supporters not being in stadiums witnessing wins this important.

Yes the league cup game performance pissed us all off.

But I'll go into the next league game expecting a win.

Sky said the Arsenal player playing for the pen tonight was OK to do so
