I know Dyche mentioned the refs there but would love him to have been a bit stronger in calling them out, take the fine (appreciate that’s easy for me to say) but really call them out and shine a bit of a spotlight on them, fed up of us getting done over

A good point.

Is it any wonder the RS lead a charmed life, re decisions.

Refs, officials, s**t scared of Klopp and his antics.

We will survive again because, unbelievably, there will be 3 teams crapper than us.

Is there 3 teams worse than us? 1 point from 12, another game we could have easily lost today so I wouldn't say we are miles ahead of Sheffield Utd by any stretch.

The only team I've seen who look definitely worse than us so far is Luton.

Today had so many long spells of brain dead, clueless in game management and tactics that it was laughably bad.

Don't agree with any of those negatives

They all worked hard, nobodies head went down after we went behind and we got ourselves back into the game.

There were even times when a bit of football almost broke out...
The two goals Sheffield scored are squarely on Dyche and the way he's got them set up. Go back and have a look at the space in front of the CBs, not just for the two goals. He may have got Gana to sit deeper as the second half went on but the horse had already bolted and against a half decent team the game would have been out of sight. And if he thinks Gana is the answer to the no.6 position he's delusional. Its amazing for a strategy that's meant to play narrow and tight that so much space exists in front of the CB.

The quality of Pattern's assist had a lot to do with Beto's pass. He's poor going forward and is seems clueless at time in how to work with his CB. There seems to be no improvement.

Gana doesn't control his area like a 6 should, He's good at chasing and the chase tackle, that's about it; need much more fromm that position at this level.

For the positions Young got in his crossing was woeful.

Danjuma should've assisted for a second and won the game then and there. Offered little else other than the tap in.

Actually don't think we were too bad today, I know we all would of preferred the win but we looked bright at times and actually moved the ball quickly.

One point from twelve is pretty terrible but both Fulham and Wolves robbed us blind.

Theyre definitely similar in the sense both can play DM, CM, ACM.

For me, both are DMs and need to sit as anchors in midfield. Then they can see the game in front of them.

For the 1st time this season, 2nd half our actual DM (Gana) went much deeper which gave Onana some comfort to roam around.

Just weird to me why we dont use him in his actual position.
He has the skills for it but does he have the temperament, patience, insight for the position.
If he does and partners with Garner it could be really good.

Thats the weird thing. Dyche keeps playing Gana instead of Garner. Uses Onana CM with no particular strategy it seems.

Its frustrating.

A top manager would take him and Branthwaite and turn them into superstars.

We used to be aggressive and we loved it! I like the refs letting stuff go if both teams are at it. Didnt see anything over the top today. Fair game.
So you think that both yellow cards, Branthwaite and doucoure were fully deserved? Did you even saw the full match? Even dyche in his interview complaining about it, and he never really does that which is telling.

There won’t be a word about the ref after this. His little mistakes made a difference on the match, brainthwaite got a yellow for a tackle when he won the ball and it was a goal kick. I don’t understand how VAR did nothing today

I would say in 3 of our 4 games we were the better team... I think we'll be OK this season.
