he has to put his arms somewhere. keepers have too much protection as it is. Jaaskelainan wasn't even attempting nor would he have got anywhere near that ball. The most important thing about today's three major incidents is that none were appealed for. Nobody in the west ham team appealed for a foul. None of our players asked questions about a red and then the same for gibson's. To be fair, we ask for consistancy and with the two reds we got that - the fact the decisions were hopelessly wrong makes you wonder why we have such incompetant semi-proffesionals in charge of a multi-billion pound sport.
i know it's not just us, but we have had the worse out of every team in the league this season. All if's and maybe's but at least justice was sort of done with our win. Maybe should have been 3-0 with 22 players at the end instead of the final result

Ref today was utter rubbish. There wasn't a bad tackle in the game yet he still managed to produce 2 red cards. Professionalism has really raised the bar there....

I can not blame the ref for us failing to score a 3rd though and make it slightly more comfortable!
Had Nolan equalised in injury time, I would have struggled to blame the ref for our defending.

I can see where Vic was fouling, so I'm not complaining. If that goal had been given against us I'd be very pissed off.
Jaskawotsisname should have kept it out anyway, but that's not the point. My biggest problem lately has been with the fouls NOT given. And not just against us.
