Shocking Refs

I can see where Vic was fouling, so I'm not complaining. If that goal had been given against us I'd be very pissed off.
Jaskawotsisname should have kept it out anyway, but that's not the point. My biggest problem lately has been with the fouls NOT given. And not just against us.

which is fair enough, but why aren't they given when it's the other way and defenders do the same to other players in the box?

Hoping common sense prevails and the cards get recinded.
I can not blame the ref for us failing to score a 3rd though and make it slightly more comfortable!
Had Nolan equalised in injury time, I would have struggled to blame the ref for our defending.

I blame the ref for exactly that. We did score a 3rd.. sadly the first was incorrectly disallowed so we were only allowed 2..

I have said before in this thread that the officiating in the EPL this year has been the worst I can recall for many a year.

We need a new roadmap that includes a video referee for each EPL game.

pathetic performance from howard webb. where was the consistancy? was all one way his decisions. similar fouls would be given against us and not for us. also don't know how ramires stayed on the pitch twice he dived and howard webb waved play on and yet never booked him once? how are going to cut diving out of the game if the refs only book players when they dive in the box?morons the lot of them. very poor performance by the linesman at the gladwys end as well, bought every single dive as a free kick - you seriously do wonder if any of them have a clue sometimes, seem to play the game based on reactions.

obviously not the reason we lost, but with a bit more compitence who knows?

Though Webb & assistants were poor, especially when it came to Jelavic, every time he challenged a Chelsea defender it was a foul, or every time he made a run behind the defence he was offside, event when he wasn't.
Obviously it wasn't game changing but it'd be nice to see something given Jelavic's way.

He was inconsistent, but compared to some other games this season he played a blinder.

I do wish Felli got away with some of the stuff Luiz does though.

Webb's a kopite and as such has it in for us. I can't remeber him having a good game for us. In fact I think this was the best game he has had for us.

Wasn't there an interview a few years ago where they where interviewing ref's in a pub and they said Webb and dowd where singing you'll never walk alone on the karaoke.

Thought Webb had a decent game given his job was made a lot harder by the blind linesmen giving Jelavic offside when clearly it wasn't.

There was just too many niggly stuff given to them yet ignoring too many off their niggly stuff on us, suppose we should not be too shocked that a Sky 3 team would get the rub of the green in that respect.
