I've not got much appetite for yet more upheaval especially when all I want this season is a 16th + finish. That and I have to admire the way Doucoure and McNeil have played since his arrival....however, anything less than 3 points from Bornemouth and I guess its got to be seriously considered....

The fact that he supposedly got a chunky bonus for keeping us up, that implies his base contract isn’t at the stupid levels of his predecessors, so I don’t think it would be that expensive.

The worry would be having no permanent board, an owner in hiding, a chairman in hiding etc etc. That’s why he will be spared, he is the only senior person at the club actively doing anything, even if it awful. That will be what Mosh and 777 will be wary of.

Ignoring whether or not we are still a pull for managers, or “anyone would jump at the chance to manage in the PL,” no one decent is coming mid-ownership change, with no clue on finances, terrible squad, impending PL (minor) punishment. No excuse for keeping him if he’s crap, but I do fear we are less attractive than we have EVER been in our history.

I never implied that he was Howard Kendall, just that I don’t think he deserves to be sacked. The results are not going our way, but the performance was better than some of the rubbish I’ve seen dished up over the years!
There was nothing today, they just didn't turn up. No performance, steamrollered by Luton ffs.

He's been given a bad hand, but the lack of tactics, the lack of understanding, the la k of coaching was all there to see today.

No, he absolutely shouldn’t be sacked yet. Get a grip! You were all singing his praises last weekend winning away at Brentford, and then at Villa in midweek. Would you have sacked him then? We created enough chances, especially in the first 20 minutes before they scored, to be 3-0 up.
The players need to look at themselves. We are lacking that little bit of composure to stick the ball in the net.
Yes, four defeats at home doesn’t make good reading, but who are we going to get in who is going to make this situation better?
Changing managers every season is what got us into this mess in the first place!
I watched some [Poor language removed] under Howard Kendall at the end of 1983. I was one of 13000 in the crowd on New Year’s Eve who booed the team off in a far worse performance than today in a 0-0 draw against Coventry. Thankfully the board and Philip Carter didn’t pull the trigger then, and look how that turned around!
Deluded this

Should have been sent on his way after the bournemouth match last season but we never ever learn.

It’s getting quite boring to see him shithouse yet another home team selection and play the same, ineffective, dull 451 turbo-garbage midfield with everything smashed up to whichever poor fooker of a number 9 we have on the pitch, in the vague hope of a bit of chaos causing a chance or goal. That is his tactics with this 451.

He mixes it up more away from home ffs - we can’t be scared to not take the initiative at home, but he is. I think I would have preferred mick Keane as part of the back three again like midweek as opposed to that 451 mess today.

The axis of nothing that is gana-onana-doucure should never cross the white line in the same side again.
