Nothing against Simms, hope he comes back and surprises everyone with some goals.
That being said, it is ridiculous that a premier league institution like Everton are relying on a young man deemed not good enough for first team football six months ago to now come back into the team and score goals to secure their survival.
Heads should roll for this, but we know they won't. More "Good times" are on the way.

I agree, and ge certainly can't be any worse than Maupay. It just illustrates how dumb sending him on loan and paying money for Maupay was. Especially when our only backup striker was Rondon at the time who we've since mutually terminated. Awful decision making from the club.

Baffles me why he didn't get a chance in August. Was too hasty to loan him out straight away rather than wait until August 31st.

I think in short term it's a decent move just to see what he looks like coming off the bench. He can always go back out for rest of the season.

7 goals in 17 in championship is decent so I'd like to see him get a proper chance.
