I don't think its panic, I think it's called being a football supporter
It's fun and tough but generally not at the same time

No, its not panic, but I tell you what I think it is if you are really honest.

Last season we laughed like drains at that lot blowing the league. We derided Rogers all year as a fraud, as a guy who was useless, inherited a RM Swansea side, inherited Suarez, fell upon a system/was told by Gerrard what to do, while all the time we were being lauded, quite rightly, all over the shop as being ace. The acest for years.

And WE, the supporters, lapped it up.

And we dont feel quite so great at the moment. And we dont really know why/what has changed in the squad/manager. And that scares me/us.

In fact it is horrible

Martinez didnt inherit a world class slotter.

He didnt spend gazillions. The loans and perms were between Ok and ace.

Last year he tweeked and changed. The first few games were well weird to watch, then bang. It clicked. Norwich away I think, but maybe not. (West Ham perhaps?)

Bewildered.

Roydo, you are not the only bewildered one. Last season, great defence, cracking midfield and a good working strike force gave us our best season for a long while. Then a a couple of new faces and into this season we were all rubbing our hands thinking CL here we come! But styles, idea, play whatever you want to call it was changed and here we are very concerned about what has happened. I for one can't criticise people who are worried and voice their concern nor the optimists. I just hope it works out and our club gets back where it should be.

I agree Roydo, I think bewilderment is part of supporting football
My non Everton friends ask exactly the same questions as are being asked here about their own clubs
We just thought we were in the promised land and we're not
Not at the moment
Not for a while

Yes, it was West Ham.....though it could argued it started home to Chelsea the game before.

But after the first game of the season away to Norwich, there were two games, home to Baggies and away to Carduff, where the performances were like sommat we are watching this season.

I was at that Baggies game, it was Bobby's first home league game and it was as dull a game as I have seen at Goodison.

It finished scoreless

In many ways I think we would have all been a lot less restive if what we have witnessed this season so far was how we panned out last season.

We could have settled ourselves by thinking it was transition.

It is just that this season.....and the last month since Wolfsburg really.....has been such a kick in the clinks.

The early defeats were explainable due to individual errors.....this latest run of defeats seems to stem from the system we are playing and the lack of any belief from the manager that owt needs changing.

We are regressing when we had all hoped we would be consolidating last season's improvement,

With half the season gone we sit in 12th place - we have lost to 8 of the 11 teams above us and have not beat any of the 11 teams above us (drawing to Arsenal, Swansea and RS).

Just hope 2015 brings us more luck.

If this ends 3 or 4 to Hull, he's got to go in my view. I thought we might get beat but show signs of recovery and go on to beat WBA and West Ham, but no, nothing.

We can't afford to keep him at the club in a relegation battle.
