He can....and he's had that during Wigan's relegation. A sign of a good manager is being able to adapt...if he doesn't, he's not a good manager and therefore he can't have another bad season..

....all imho naturally

Thats all a bit relatively speaking though....arent Wigan a team you would have expected to have gotten relegated eventually. I dont think it was any great shock. He did win them a cup in the same season though.

You can check out the CV of many a top manager and find examples worse then relegating a relegation material team and having half a poor league season with a team that regularly spends half the league season playing poor!

Patience, and all will be revealed.

Exactly clowns on here think we'll win the europa league, finish mid table, the players will be fired up and we'll be back to our best next week.

LOL sorry football doesn't work that way. Mid table finish= less of a transfer kitty for RM due to the millions lost, players like mirallas doing one rather than signing a new deal, and the club ending up selling a barkley/lukaku to have a decent kitty to bring in 3-4 players (those players not quality signings either as we don't have European football to attract them)

People need to wake up, moan about lukaku now you'll be moaning about Beckford up top for us next season!
We aren't deluded. We've just got nothing else to hope for.

If we do well in January we can still get a decent league position. It's not like we haven't done it before.

If we win Europa as long as we stay up I would give a damn where we finish however football doesn't work that way.

Don't think he should be sacked...but starting to think we'll get beat before every game we play, no matter who the opposition or whether home or away. The last time I felt that was pre-Moyes. The worst thing about it is that we have a good team/squad so we can't blame transfer funds/weak squad etc...buck stops at the manager...now get it sorted Bobby because people are starting to lose faith

In fairness Moyes built everything on not getting beat first, and we are trying to change from that mindset. I think he should be allowed time to make that change.

Who has spent that except Utd.

Liverpool had a net spend of around 20m
Chelsea probably where in profit.
Tottenham haven't spent much net in years.
Southampton where also in profit
etc
Arsenal and City are perhaps the only other two that spent more than 50m

Add about 30million onto that.

Don't get so uptight people have opinions and they are not all the same as yours.
Last season martinez did a great job but this season he is not doing anything about his bad management decisions.
Its not the losing its how we are losing and like i have said i have tolerated mike walker and walter smith.
You can't keep doing things every game knowing its not working it does not make sense.

I think you should stop watching Everton for a couple of weeks mate. I didn't watch them today and all I did was glance at the result after 90mins and I think it feels better than watching the full game. Just my suggestion.

How many poor starts to the season did Moyes make? People never went this crazy over it, jesus christ.
This shows that the man in question, Roberto Martinez, has raised EVERYONE's expectations. Raised them so high that a poor start (Normal for Everton) is deemed sack worthy for the man who brought us our record points tally.

He'll get it right, i just hope its sooner rather than later.

Not uptight at all chilled as can be. I am trying to stop you having depression or ulcers from your unhealthy hatred of Martinez. I am all for opinions and concede we are in a bad run but it is you who needs to take a chill pill and allow Martinez ,TIME' before binning him as a [Poor language removed] clueless manager. FFS he has only been here 5 minutes and now he is the anti-Christ the way you are talking. Think you just need to calm it a notch instead of trying to convince everyone that he is the worst manager since Mike Walker. Tell me a manager that has not made bad decisions (in hindsight) in the history of football and I will freely let you slag our new manager as much as you like without reply.

I support them and would never stop watching mate i just think martinez is lost and our performances and results tell me no different
