Mate, have you seen some of the teams in this league below us?

If we stayed where we were all season I'd accept it and look forward to season three under Martinez where he'd need to show his colours again.

Not in the remotest concerned.

I am a little bit mate. But mainly because I am baffled by the last 3 matches in particular. I just pray that something hasnt gone off behind the scenes, and that we are having a horror trot that will turn itself around.

We shouldn't really be in this position though, that's the thing. There's obviously something wrong with the managers tactics.

I see a slump that needs working through; others see a slump and run around like tarts screaming.

Sorry for being in the former group like.

Agreed.

Distin needs to be gone.

We need a winger and a centre back this window. A goal keeper also if possible to properly compete for the spot.

There is nothing that cannot be otherwise rectified in our atrocious defending/form and lack of balance in the side.

I'm not in either, but I understand and I can see something is very very wrong,we look like a load of lads they've pulled out of the stand and told to have go

Why would I be worried at midtable and a manager in charge who got us to 70 points last season?

Dont worry lid, Roberto's got this.
He has not shown us anything like he has got it.
Last season has gone just like the one before that when he got relegated.
You know he is struggling because you just shoot down people who are not happy and never explain how you know he is going to get us going

We'll work it out.

It's not nice right now. But should we as Evertonians expect everything to be nice all the time?

Not in my experience.

You see Davek may have a TERRIBLE choice of a player (NAISMITH).

However he is a voice of reason amid a sea of chaos otherwise.

A slump?
We are effing awful. Can't remember the last time we actually looked, good. The defence, don't get me started with that.
I'm teetering on the brink, with him.
Really, don't like, what I am seeing.

He does do the hairdryer treatment behind closed doors. His media utterances are camouflage. Do what I do and don't listen to them.

How do you know this mate? No offense but that is speculation

It's certainly how he worked at Wigan. Nice as pie in public and talks a fair amount of bollox in front of the press, but absolutely furious in private.

I am a little bit as well; not 'the sky is falling down' worried, but aware that Everton has no god given right to be in the PL and teams like Burnley, Leicester, QPR, Hull S'land, Villa, WBA will fight tooth and nail to stay up. These are now our genuine rivals and to glibly say, we are better than them, invites potential disaster sourced of hubris.
