My 5 year old son said to me tonight," dad why do you like Everton, they make you so sad and mad"

Good question son, good question. Martinez needs to be shown the door at finch farm tomorrow, I'd appoint Unsworth/Sheedy or Duncan combo of some sort. We are totally lifeless might give us a boost for the semi final.

If you work for an incompetent manager you never give your all and occasionally you down tools to make a point. Human nature, no matter how much you are paid.
I wouldn't advocate Moyes returning, but he looked disgusted at our performance tonight. But Martinez has to go, that attitude and "performance" cannot and should not be tolerated. As others have mentioned, Sheedy or Unsworth as interim.

Let me ask one simple question tho: the semi is in ~68 hours. I mean, no matter who is brought in, can you see ANYTHING really changing in that time? That one point is why I am blaming a lot of this on the board. They should have taken matters into their own hands WEEKS ago in order to salvage ANYTHING from the season. Instead, we are where we are now...

I can see players being motivated by the guy we bring in
