Just seen a comment on X saying he’d struggle to manage a brothel. Not sure that’s how the saying goes. Made me chuckle.

Be interesting to to see if Leicester get a bounce tonight. Probably leading to a West Ham sacking, who will then get a bounce of their own. We need our bounce fairly quickly. Tactical timing of our new manager bounce is our version of inverted fullbacks.
Ye I'm not sure a brothel would be necessarily easy to manage 😂

Each one brought in because they were deals we could afford to do and get done as opposed to deals we optimally would do if limits weren’t an issue and we didn’t have to bring home a negative net spend and feed the PSR wolf.

It’s a squad put together by players we could get within our limits not necessarily players we want without limits.

But what about the players who were here 4 years ago but now aren't? You know, Mina, Richarlison, Gordon, Gylfi, Digne, James, Iwobi, DCl not a busted flush at that point, and a younger Coleman.

As for that list, Broja and Chermiti haven;t even been available this season, Tim has been injured for most of it, likewise Garner (or certainly not fully fit for most of it), Ashley Young isn't an upgrade on Coleman 4 years ago and I'd rather have Demarai Gray as a wide option than Lindstrom.

The point is that this is not the same squad let alone should be the same team as 4 years ago...let alone when Dyche joined.

As such the manager is lying.

Yeah, I know, it's worse. Much, much worse, and I don't even reckon we've been particularly awful in the market, though we've hardly been amazing.

Beto is probably the worst pound for pound signing, and we got him cap in hand.

Most people are stuck in the polarised loop of Dyche in or Dyche out - when really that’s ultimately not the issue at all. I don’t think anyone has blind loyalty, it’s more based on what people feel is best for Everton.

If you follow most posts carefully, the debate is actually on whether you think the players are crap and will need to be pragmatically dragged over the line by playing the percentages or the players are under performing and are actually an attacking menace
without this manager.

Danny’s made some really good points on thus, these players, were crap and struggled to perform and score for 4 seasons now. We’ve so,d our best players every season and had a negative net spend every year.

The opposite point of view is these players will start winning games with a different manager - there’s no evidence to base that on - it’s a big risk. People might be right - but what if they’re wrong, big stakes. It’s an unknown.

So what do we know? Well we know he’s managed us to safety with low point total in a first half of a season. We know he’s managed us to safety when points have been taken away from us and we were catapulted to second bottom of the league.

It’s actually only logical to think based on past performance, he has the skills. Dave made some great points last night, on the run of form and being 15th at the moment, it was worthwhile perspective.

So it’s where you sit on the risk spectrum and how good you think this group of players are or can be.

Personally as I said, if there are no resources in Jan and we can’t spend - I’m siding with the dude that’s kept us up twice all ready with this limited group.

The X as I’ve said is TFG, if they are going to protect their investment and invest in the squad in Jan, then it makes sense that that investment is players - future proofed to the satisfaction of a new manager, therefore a change in those circumstances is logical, like Howe at Newcastle.

As I say I don’t think anyone is blindly following Dyche, he’s here two years almost, that’s beyond the PL average, he’s our longest serving manager since Martinez, ultimately all mangers move on and Dyche will to - it’s inevitable, because that’s the nature of the job everywhere. So at some point all who want him to leave will get there wish, its just when, same for every manager.

When it comes to us and how it’s relative to keeping him presently I think lads are looking at the playing squad, seeing its limited, seeing the risk and if the ability to change and invest in it isn’t there - why not trust a dude that’s done it twice here.
For some one trying to be all intellectual with that post it's some load of cobblers .

Garbage. Funny how managers can get league goals from average beanpole strikers like Wood, Larsen and Delap (collectively 21 league goals between them) but when it comes to us, it's the player that's crap. Any excuse to deflect the blame from the dinosaur.

Isn’t that the point we consistently sold our best players for - net spend.

The difference is some people think the players are better other think they are worse.

Choose your poison!
