Quick question for the guitarists…. Are you only a proper guitarist if you own about 10 guitars? I hoard batteries and bulbs. Would need a spare room for all these guitars you all have.

Nah, I only have three (plus a crappy nylon string and a mandolin) and I'm a professional musician.

Also got a Squire strat, 1980’s cheap Fender acoustic and a partscaster tele, but my eldest lad has nabbed them!

I still have a Yamaha APX-7 from the 90s, bought it from a Aussie muso called Russell Morris when I first started working over here. Don't play it much these days but it never let me down and I always loved the action on it.

nah, you need a main one you like and if gigging, a spare/back up, anything else is an indulgence. I don't do brass or beak so got to have some vices elsewhere

Always wanted a Martin. My main gigging guitar is a lovely Col Clark and I have a Sigma as my backup. Actually prefer playing the Sigma, it feels like a Martin, but the pickup is gash compared to the CC.

"Gash" is a bit of a misogynistic word as an insult isn't it Bish? X
