He won't be a starter though, he'd be replacing Osman as back up for Barry, McCarthy and Gibson.

Wouldn't even want him as a back up. We've got two young lads, Lundstram, and after him Ryan Ledson who i'd rather concentrate on bringing through as our 'back ups' at a younger age than waste the money on someone like Colback who wouldn't benefit us in any way.

Colback is rubbish. Absolutely rubbish.

Thankfully we have Oviedo whose a miles better left back for if Baines goes, while we'll likely have Barry in next season to compete with Gibson and McCarthy and Barkley for three central midfield slots.

If this lad thinks he's rubbish, it makes me think we need to get in now before his price goes up

Lundstram has experience in the lower levels, how else will he be used than by getting games with us. I'd much rather take my chance with him than with Colback.

He lowers the standard in that case mate, he's an average player not crap but very meh and not good enough to be a rotational player for us.
