Why do the press keep linking us with Left Backs as replacements for Baines when he ain't going anywhere, and if he did, we would have Oviedo to play LB?

Cos Baines is 29, this Dundee lid would be perfect, hes 18, buy him, let him learn for a few years and BINGO, a perfect understudy for Super Bry when Baines retires.

Just a thought for people moaning;

In the summer i was dreading losing Fellaini and Baines and getting no-one in to replace them. We ended up keeping Baines, getting great money for Fellaini and somehow even got good money for Vic. In exchange we bought in McCarthy who is fantastic and Barry & Lukaku for the season. Result!!!

This window the only real outgoings are likely to be back up players who eat up wages and they'll only go if we have replacements lined up. Even losing Baines wouldnt be the major concern it wouldve been in the summer thanks to the emergence of Oviedo.

We have money to spend if Martinez wants to use it in this window and rather than worry about who we might lose we're all talking about who we might sign.

Plenty to be positive about!

You could create most transfer talk with an ad-lib machine and a database of players. Try it out and see if it's any worse than what gets reported. Here's one:

The Science Fair

According to Principal Bryan Oviedo, the school science fair this year was "very educational." At the same time, Principal Bryan Oviedo announced plans to quit the school system and become a Footballer. "It sounds like a safer job," the Principal said.

Several Promising projects were disqualified this year. The experiment on Animal Magnetism by Cheryl Cole was canceled before we could plug in her Leopard. The project by Leighton Baines on Gravity's Effect on First Graders was canceled when the custodians wouldn't let him borrow a ladder. And the nuclear-powered Lucas Leiva built by Napolean Bonaparte was taken away by the police, who said Ashley Cole will be back in school "any day now."

BT Sport Reporter won second prize with an experiment that asked, Can Dogs Learn Karate? (The answer was yes.) The Dogs tossed Principal Bryan Oviedo over a Bill Kenright and left the science fair. Anyone who sees them should call the main office.

Adrianna Lima won first prize with her TNT Carrots. By planting seeds in gunpowder and watering them with nitroglycerin, she grew Carrots that explode when you drop them. "What a dynamite idea," the Principal joked Quirkily. So far, nobody has figured out how the prize-winning Carrots got into the salad served to the Principal at lunchtime. Just to be safe, though, the Vegetable Surprise has been taken off tomorrow's lunch menu.
