Martinez said in his interview that signing mcgeady means he doesn't have to buy a number 9 straight away and that mirralas will be the back up striker

Not sure I like the sound of that. We need a striker. What happens if Lukaku gets injured? I´m sure Mirallas could do a decent job playing up front by himself but it would be a big risk.

Bobby should just take an advert out in the paper telling everyone we urgently need a new striker, that way anyone who has one to sell will do so on the cheap! Ffs he's said we don't need anyone urgently with Aiden coming in but that doesn't mean he's not going to buy one. Imagine he spunks the cash today on a centre forward and jelavic doesn't go to hull.. It'll all happen at the same time, hull just can't keep anything quiet

Barry was a starter and a good player for a title winning side mate I never had a problem with him, and with Mccarthy I didn't mind him just thought we over paid as did 99% of people. Mcgeady isn't as good as mirallas so he shouldn't be played ahead of him so mirallas can be used as a back up striker RM needs to bring another forward in (which I believe he will do)

Personally think McGeady will do alright for us. Don't see him as a starting eleven player myself when everybody is fit. Will be an improvement on Naismith/Osman on the wing though. Mirallas should and will be fist choice I'd guess.
