I remember loads of underwhelming EFC signings over the years that turned out great.

From Peter Reid (perpetual crock who was finished), Andy Gray (has-been with injury problems), Paul Power (30+ veteran who'd never won a thing), Paul Rideout (average journeyman)... There's loads more.

Seem to recall a few moans about Gareth Barry too.
