Read somewhere meeting Roma this w/e and we collect £1m for his contract
Watched him a lot at Alcorcon,he's an ex Barcelona youth player and it shows.Really rate him and as you say would fit our system.Scores a lot of headed goals, not because he's that tall but he gets himself in front of defenders.Oriol Riera would be a perfect fit for us btw.
Don't think it's a rumour more wishful thinking if you watch much Spanish football,if wishful thinking is allowed I'll go Modric he's doing some amazing things at RM at the minuteWhats the story behind this Reira rumour? Has Bobby checked him out?
Midfielder Ibrahim, also previously linked to Arsenal, is told he can move on by Manuel Pellegrini.
He was once compared to midfield greats Patrick Vieira and Yaya Toure, but now it seems that Abdisalam Ibrahim’s Manchester City career is at an end.
According to the Daily Mail, Manuel Pellegrini is happy to let the Norway Under-21 star leave on a free transfer, though the club will seek £250,000 in compensation.
Ibrahim has just returned from a successful loan spell at Stromsgodset, where he helped them to win the Norwegian title, but has made only three appearances for City since 2009.
The 22-year-old is likely to attract interest from Premier League and Championship clubs. Arsenal, Everton and Southampton are all understood to be admirers of the midfielder.
Ibrahim was drafted into City’s academy system back in 2007, and made a promising start to life at the Etihad, helping the club win the FA Youth Cup. At one point, his power and poise in midfield led to predictions that he could rival the likes of Arsenal legend Vieira and City’s own powerhouse Toure.
But City’s relentless spending of recent years, particularly in midfield, has meant that Ibrahim never made an impact on the first team and instead was forced into a number of loan spells.
Recently he was critical of City’s lavish spending sprees, saying: “When I joined City they were investing in young players and did not have much money.
“I feel sorry for the young players who join City now because they will never get to play.
“If the club let me leave, I will do that. It is not a matter of money, I need to find a place where I am happy.
“I want to go somewhere I can stay for a long time and build up my career.”

Apparently Fulham may be open to good offers for Berbatov. Is he worth considering now we have sold Jelavic?
