I see where you're coming from, but they were all just putting 2 and 2 together, he was obviously going to be linked with Wigan players, McGeady he'd been linked with before.

Del, Rom and Gaz baz were relatively out of the blue.

Last transfer window I waited for a lull in all the speculation and when i thought the time was right I put it out Ina subtle way that Ossie was going to Man U in less than 24 hours it was on most of the fans websites and in the daily fibber and the daily fail
Not trying to be clever mate but that's how it works..

And as we all know, this summer a global transfer embargo is taking place so no one will be able to sign or sell any players, and we will be left with no strikers for the 14/15 season! Nice foresight!

We've owned players and seen them go after one decent season or two for cash. There is no stability at a club like this. It's just another form of dealing with that. If they go we'll get three more in during the summer. As long as these players all know the drill in terms of what's expected style-wise (and you keep a core of players who remain year after year to maintain the ethos of the team) then there's no problem.

I'm sure he's high on the list, he was allegedly the player we were after on deadline day when we contacted Chelsea and got offered Lukaku. I think at the time he was only interested in going to a club in Europe, Arsenal were interested but Chelsea wouldn't let him go their. Given the amount of game time he's had and our start to the season and general Bossness he may think differently now.
